Craftsmen for Christ Ministry
"And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work" Nehemiah 2:18
Building for the Cause of Christ
WILL YOU LET GOD USE YOU?
We are an Independent Baptist ministry dedicated to helping other Independent Baptist Ministries who are not financially or physically able to construct buildings for the use of the Lord. We thank the Lord for allowing us to help these faithful servants.
On this website, you can find more information about the Craftsmen for Christ Ministry and the projects we are working on. Please keep us in your prayers as we try to help the servants of God spread the Gospel.
Upon having opportunities to visit many missionaries in the field, the Lord placed a great burden on our hearts to help these missionaries prayerfully and physically. With rising cost of construction, we were convinced there was a great need to help in the capacity of providing free skilled labor to assist in the construction of churches, children's homes, and other Christ-centered ministries who were not physically or financially able to help themselves during the construction process.
We have witnessed many missionaries getting discouraged to the point of even leaving the field because they didn't have the financial means to hire help to build a building. The Craftsmen for Christ want to remove that burden from them! We help congregations or missionaries get into their first building, up to size of 6,000 sq. ft.
In June of 1995, the Lord opened the door for a group of men from our home church to go to Buffalo, Wyoming, to lay the block for the basement of Perry Memorial Independent Baptist Church. From this project, the Craftsmen for Christ Ministry was officially started. From 1995 to this date, the Lord has opened many doors and blessed the ministry. From Stevensville, Montana to Charlotte, North Carolina, to Fort Francis, Ontario, Canada, the Lord has allowed us to be a small part in reaching the lost for Christ.
The Craftsmen for Christ is strictly a faith ministry supported by churches and individuals. All support is used to help pay for traveling expenses, lodging, and meals. All labor is voluntary without paid salaries.
In our travels across this great nation we have seen many people who are willing to donate their time and talent for the Lord. God has even touched the hearts of lost men to help with construction and have later accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Our goal is to establish several branches of the Craftsmen for Christ throughout strategic geographical locations of the United States to more efficiently serve our Savior. We currently have a Western Field coordinator and an Eastern Field Coordinator. In addition, God has already give us laborers who yielded to the call to go full-time into the ministry. The heart of Craftsmen for Christ Ministry is the furthering of the gospel by helping establish Bible-believing local churches, childrens homes, and other church-related ministries.
Our beliefs are like those of our sending church Freedom Baptist Church, Rural Hall, NC. Those beliefs can be viewed here: Craftsmen for Christ Beliefs
